ACTors Lab Classes and Workshops

We are excited to introduce ACTors Lab, ACT’s new after-school theatre and dance education conservatory. This winter and spring, we will be piloting a select group of classes to test and refine the program, laying the groundwork for a full launch in September. When fully launched, ACTors Lab will offer a wide range of classes across multiple disciplines and levels, providing young artists with high-quality, progressive training in a supportive and inspiring environment. All sessions held at Highrock Church, Arlington, MA.

This workshop emphasizes physicality, listening, and truthful play, drawing from Viola Spolin–based improvisation techniques and professional rehearsal practices. Students will engage in guided discussion about comedic storytelling, experiment with classic and contemporary comedy structures, and gain firsthand insight into performing at the Broadway level during a live Q&A with the instructor.

Designed for performers of all experience levels, this masterclass builds confidence, sharpens comedic instincts, and encourages actors to take joyful risks in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
